香港政府已批准自2025年1月1日起，將酒店房租稅（HAT）從現行的0%調整為3%。因此，酒店將須對房價徵收3%的稅費。在生效日期後，客人將在房價基礎上額外支付3%的稅費。
The Hong Kong Government has approved an adjustment to the Hotel Accommodation Tax (HAT), increasing the rate from the current 0% to 3%, effective January 1, 2025. As a result, hotels will be required to apply a 3% tax to room charges. Guests will notice an additional 3% tax on their room rates from the effective date.
